Dr. Vito Pagano is a lifelong resident of the Hopewell area. After graduating from Hopewell Valley Central High School, Dr. Pagano received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry/Biology from Trenton State College (The College of New Jersey). Dr. Pagano then went on to attend Life Chiropractic University in Atlanta, Georgia where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
Dr. Pagano opened Pagano Chiropractic Center in 1998. The clinic serves local families by educating them about the necessity of having a Chiropractor on their health care team; a professional to maintain their spine for maximum nerve integrity & optimum health potential.
Our office serves everyone from newborns to seniors. Dr. Pagano has patients well into their 90s, and his youngest patients are just days old! Whether your goal is to age gracefully, be able to survive the workday, or play with the kids, we are ready to help.
Dr. Pagano has also helped recreational and competitive athletes achieve optimum performance. From assisting recreational walkers and tennis players, to high school, collegiate and high-level competitive athletes, we’ll help connect you to your true potential. Chiropractic Care/Adjustments
Chiropractic is a natural, drug-free form of healthcare that works to improve health and allow your body to function optimally. The nervous system communicates with the body through the spinal cord and nerves. When communication is interrupted by a misaligned or “subluxated” vertebrae, the body’s natural functions can be affected and pain may occur. Subluxations may be caused by trauma or simple everyday stresses like poor posture or fatigue. Chiropractic adjustments correct vertebral subluxations
and promote healing.

Therapies
Dr. Pagano utilizes a number of modalities in conjunction with chiropractic care to alleviate pain, inflammation and muscle spasm. Designed to facilitate the body's natural healing processes, these therapies include:
electric muscle stimulation, heat and ice therapies, stretching, Kinesio taping and ProtecSpine Floating Manipulative Therapy (FMT).
Extremity Adjusting
This restores normal biomechanics of the hand, wrist, elbow, shoulder, hip, knee, ankle and foot. Poor biomechanics can lead to a range of musculoskeletal problems, such as carpal tunnel syndrome, plantar fasciitis and tendonitis. When the body has to overcompensate for poor biomechanics, it has to work harder, which can lead to greater fatigue and/or pain.
Techniques Suited to You
Dr. Pagano is skilled in a variety of modern and classic chiropractic adjusting methods. He’ll tailor care to your particular needs
and comfort level.
The primary technique is a hands-on method involving adjusting joints to help them function better. We utilize flexion-distraction, drop, high/low and inversion adjusting tables to facilitate the best care for the individual patient.
Pregnancy/Pediatric Care
During pregnancy, there are several physiological changes that occur in a woman’s body. Chiropractic care offers many women relief from back, leg, and pelvic pain common during pregnancy. After birth, many parents elect to have their newborn’s spine checked, as many developmental milestones are affected by spinal alignment. As your child grows, sports injuries, playground bumps and heavy school bags can create physical stresses on the growing child.
We offer specific, gentle adjustments appropriate
to the infant and child’s spine.

Your First Visit
New patients will need to phone the office
and schedule an appointment for their first visit.
Prior to arriving at the office for your first appointment, all patients using health insurance
should verify their insurance coverage and chiropractic benefits. Be sure to bring your
insurance ID card and be familiar with your deductible, copayment and/or co-insurance.
When you arrive at the office for your first visit, you'll start out by completing our new-patient paperwork (or, to save time, you can download the health history form HERE, complete it, and bring it with you when you come in for your appointment). Dr. Pagano will review the patient forms, then meet with you to discuss your chief complaint and concerns. Dr. Pagano will then perform a physical examination, go over your diagnosis, and begin your chiropractic care.
